Blackpool

Description: Famous for its Eiffel-esque tower it’s a nice day out if you fancy chilling on a beach, chewing on some rock, visiting the amusement park, or going up the aforementioned tower.

Description: Once the largest silk factory in the world… yes, the world… it is now flats, but you can still admire the exterior of the building.

Lister Park

Description: Voted Britain’s Best Park in 2006 (but not as good as Bowling Park in our opinion) it features the Mughal Fountains, a massive boating lake, lots of bread-fillable ducks, and, most crucially, the Cartwright Hall art gallery.

National Media Museum
