Black students (students of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean descent) make up 54% of the total student population on campus. However the Black student experience is still moved by racism, in education, work and within the society as a whole. Thus the Black student’s forum has been put in place to represent Black students. This forum is a safe place where black students or students who self define as Black can congregate to discuss issues, socialise and to plan events and campaigns and lift each other up.
