Contact Naheeda at the Student Union Advice Centre be emailing ubu-visas@Bradford.ac.uk to book a Visa information session held once a week at 12:00pm.
Visa Session
At the Visa session, we will go through the application form with you and identify the documents needed to send with your application. You can ask any questions that you have regarding the application process.
Individual Appointment
You will then be offered an Individual Appointment with Naheeda once your application form is fully COMPLETED and accompanying documents are ready for check before been sent to the Home Office. Please, be aware that individual appointment cannot be made before visa information session unless on a very complicated circumstances which you will have to inform Naheeda through email prior to appointment.
The service is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL. However you will have to pay £5.00 for your application postage by special delivery.
Visa Information Session
The Visa information sessions are usually held every Friday, 12:00, at Board Room, Student Central. You are required to book to attend a session in advance. To book an appointment, send an email to ubu-visa@bradford.ac.uk starting the following:

Wednesday 7th September : 1400 – 1600 at the Union Activities Room in Student Central.
Monday 12th September:1200 – 1400 at Room GTA D0.15 (Hort); Horton Building D Wing
Monday 19th September and then each Monday until 19th December: 1200 – 1400 at the Union Activities Room in Student Central.
Or come in person to the UBU Advice Centre at STUDENT CENTRAL and make your appointment at the Reception Desk. It is advised that you book early for a session because we have limits to the number we can take per session. When you have reserved a place at the visa information session, you should bring with you the following:
• A BLANK application form which can be downloaded at http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/adult-students/applying-inside-uk/
• Certificate of Acceptance of Studies (CAS), which you can get from the hub
• Sponsor Letter and/or Bank Statement and
• ATAS Certificate (If applicable)
At the Visa information session, Naheeda will explain to a group of students how to fill in the application form, and what documents are required. Thereafter, she will make individual appointment for each student to see her after one or two weeks, with the completed application form and all necessary documents you need. She will then crosscheck through the application form and all documents and send the application to the Home Office on the student’s behalf.
By extending your visa through the UBU Visa Advice Centre
• Your application will be dealt with by a specialist team in the Home Office that only deal with student applications
• They will contact Naheeda if they need further evidence from you and
• We can contact them by telephone to report any changes
In addition to the extending your student visa, Naheeda can also advise you concerning any of the following.
