Electrics – there are many things you can do when it comes to saving electricity and the great thing about it is that its makes your bills smaller to and so giving you that little bit more money to spend.

Turn lights off

when your not in the room. Obvious i know but people forget

Set your computer to switch itself off

so just in case you forget or you fall asleep in front of it. Don’t use a dryer leave your cloves to nag dry doesn’t take too long just mean you will have to think of what you might want to where a little bit more in advance.

Light Bulbs

When your light bulbs go replace them with energy efficient bulbs there cheaper in the long run as they last longer as well as adding less penny’s on the electric bill.

Washing Machine

Turning your washing machine down to 30% reduces the amount of energy you use to heat up the water that washes you clothes.

Laptops better then desktops

Laptops use far less energy then a decktop computer just look at the smaller amount of equipment used on a laptop then using a desktop

Live with others

Home emissions account for about a quarter of the UK's total climate impact. A single-person household uses more of almost everything per person than a four-person household, consuming:

Twice as much electricity and gas
70% more packaging waste
60% more products - 1.6 tonnes instead of one

Exersising outdoors

The amount of energy used by devices such as tredmills is a rediculous amount compared to the amount of energy needed to go for a run

Drying clothing outdoors

Just think of the amount of money you spend on electric bills

Control your heating better

Just think how much you could save by setting your heating to go on for only when your in as well as set it to heat your home just before you need it so you don't have your heating on to long.

Switch off standby

The amount of energy used by keeping equipment on standby is ridiculas by simple getting up and switching equiment of at the mains you can save a fair amount on your electricity bills

Keep fridge freezer ice free

Your fridge freezer uses up more energy when covered in ice as its working harder to keep everything in side cold

Radio on radio not on tv

You use up far more energy by listing to the radio on a tv or by using your computer only to listen how about litening on a radio to FM AM DAB you can listen to ramair 1350AM
