UBU Jailbreak is back! After its return last year it is back in 2010 and even bigger and better than ever.
But what is Jailbreak?
Well, you need to get as far away from Bradford Students Union in 24hrs for free with team scores depending on how you travel: the more eco-friendly the contraptions the better the score.
Will you catapult to Norway? Or get a rocket into space? Drill to the centre of the earth? fly to America? Or just walk to leeds?
The journeys are endless and fun is waiting to be had, so get you names down!
Teams need to be a minimum of three but individuals can be put into teams at the safety meeting.
The winning team will be the one with the most points and they will get a special prize!
All teams get a safety kit plus a disposable camera to track their progress and prove where they got to. Teams will also be able to call into student radio station RamAir to talk about their progress.
Entry for the Jailbreak is just £10 but if a team raises £50 or more then the £10 is returned. 60% of money raised goes to the Haiti appeal and the other £40 to a charity of the team's choice.
Key Dates
25th March - Safety Meeting - Time and Location TBC.
26th March @ 6pm - 27th March @ 6pm- The get away. Spend nothing and see how far you get.
27th March - Have fun wherever you got to, or start the journey home.
28th March @ 6pm- Cut off point for the returning of teams.
28th March @ 7pm- the results!!
